DESCRIPTION:\nThe Hampton Roads Estate Planning Council is pleased to announce its scholarship for an honorary one-year membership in the Council, which includes attendance to our five dinner and educational meetings and our annual seminar.  The scholarship shall cover the fiscal year of July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021.\n \nThe intention of our scholarship is to raise awareness of estate planning as a career path for students studying accounting, finance, and law, as well as to provide those students with meaningful networking, mentorship, and potential employment opportunities. \n \nStudents from Regent University, Virginia Wesleyan University, Norfolk State University, and Old Dominion University are eligible to apply.\n \nThis is our first year offering the scholarship and our process is subject to change for future years.\n \n[Applications](https://www.hrepc.org/assets/Councils/HamptonRoads-VA/userContent/pdf/HREPC%20Scholarship%20Information%20Release%20and%20Application%20rev%201.pdf) are due by May 15, 2020.  Scholarship awards will be announced by the end of May.\n \nPlease Note - Applications will only be accepted electronically.
